Dinner in the Dark!

Dinner in the Dark is an event that our organization hosts each semester to foster the conversation on visual impairment. Holding a meal on campus in complete darkness, we give our participants a semblance of what it is like to eat without being able to see your food. To further encourage the dialogue, we have a panel of UT students who have various levels of visual impairment at the dinner to talk about their experiences both as students at UT and in their everyday lives. Dinner in the Dark is a safe environment for questions and education with the added benefit of delicious food!

For the spring 2018 semester, Dinner in the Dark is going to be held on the evening of April 26, so mark your calendars and be on the lookout for further information!
